You know those people that seem to get so much more done than everyone else, do you ever wonder how they get it all done with the same 24 hours you have?

Dive in with me as we explore why some people just seem to get so much more done in a day than others and how we can work on getting more done in the same 24 hour period.

The modern way to own my morning and win my day.

  1.  We must understand that there is a direct correlation between a person’s production and their daily routines. Consistent activity equals consistent results.

  2.  What holds you back from being disciplined with your time? Lack of want, or not knowing what you want, can make this unclear. Start identifying what it is you want from life, start identifying the big purchases you want to make, the charitable contributions you want to give, and most importantly, identify what it is you want to be remembered for!

  3. Look at your time as ROT, that is Return on Time.  As an entrepreneur you need to know your average dollar per hour is worth. To figure this out you may need to set a timer every 9 minutes and write down what you're doing every time it goes off. Then next to those things you're doing, write down your dollar signs - a “$” is below your time, “$$” would be your average activities and “$$$” signs are above. Aim to spend your time doing $$$ sign activities and see if you can hire someone to help you with the $ & $$ activities so you can spend time in your $$$ activities. For sales people your $$$ might be things like meeting potential clients and $ could be filing away paperwork or picking up your dry cleaning.

  4. We must understand that our day starts the night before. Prepare for your day the night before, that means your lunch is prepped, coffee is prepped, breakfast is prepped, your outfit is picked out so we have very little decisions to make in the morning. If we set an alarm to wake up, we may want to set an alarm to go to bed.

  5.  We don't need to finish that last drink or even that bottle of wine before bed or before leaving.  What is that alcohol doing for you anyways….🙄

  6. Chug a glass of water before bed and first thing in the morning!

  7.  Before bed always visualize what you need to do in the morning

  8.  Before bed, know exactly what you're going to wear the next day ⬅ yes, this again. Decision fatigue is a thing, protect yourself and get this figured out the night before.

  9. Always get your fuel for energy in order and make sure you're not out of anything. Are you meal prepping or at the very least are you keeping your pantry stocked with good fuel for your body? When we get busy, it becomes easy to grab things on the go, putting our health on the back-burner.

  10. Moving forward don't say “I'll handle it in the morning.” Don't leave your problems for the morning time; your morning is for lead generating or hunting for new business.

  11.  No administrative work in the morning! See number 10 if you need more information 😉

  12.  Make sure your time with family and loved ones is scheduled in your calendar first! They are the most important to us so let's make sure our calendars reflect that

  13.  No news and No social media in the morning. When you take in the news or social media in the morning you have no control over what you see. They could be sharing negative articles, stories about dogs dying. These things will sap your energy before your day even started! And it was completely out of your control; it becomes too easy to blame your failure to hit your goals on outside forces when in reality it was always within your control.

  14. Read something positive everyday.

  15. Keep a notepad near your bathroom for your shower ideas. How many times have we had a great idea in the shower only to completely forget it once we got down to a piece of pen and paper. Also near your nightstand if you’re like me

  16. The biggest difference between top producers and everyone else is how well they manage their morning.

What’s one tip you can take away and implement tomorrow morning? Let me know below!

Thanks for tuning in and reading along with me.

Warmly, Jess
